Off-the-Grid Living
We have renovated a small traditional house in the olive fields of Kostos. The house is off-the-grid connected only to its own solar panels, and the water is coming from the well on the property. Folia is a unique experience to disconnect and resource in the middle of nature, surrounded only by trees and cicadas.
A simple place with everything you need
The house is composed of a room, a living room, a bathroom, a kitchen, and an outdoor dining area. The room has a double bed, and the living room a convertible couch.
For maximum confort, we recommend the house to be rented for 2 people.
Ever relied solely on the sun for 100% of your energy?
The house is equipped with multiple solar panels, batteries, and inverters. There are two solar circuit: one for the general use of the house, the water pump, the outlets, the light and the fridge; the other one for the AC and anything that comes extra. The second circuit is designed to stop in case there is not enough energy being creating while safeguarding the rest of the house needs.
Folia produces more than just electricity
Folia is surrounded by olive fields, but also has plenty of fruit trees producing from spring to late fall. We have peaches, apples, pears, pomegranates, green and red figs, prunes, almonds, and of course olives.
